Opportunity Coach

Know who to call first. And why.

The Opportunity Coach scores every business in your territory by commercial fit and urgency — and writes a specific reason for each score so your team never has to guess.

A list of 200 prospects is useless without a priority order

  • When you have 200 businesses in your territory, gut-feel prioritisation means the highest-opportunity leads don't always get called first.

  • Opportunity scores without explanations are black boxes. A score of 82 tells your team nothing about why — so they can't act on it or personalise the pitch.

  • Without prioritisation, field reps optimise on proximity and ease of access rather than commercial opportunity. High-value targets at the edge of the territory get ignored.

How it works

Opportunity Coach — step by step

1

Synthesise all signals

The Opportunity Coach reads every available signal for each business: digital gaps, review patterns, enrichment data, territory context, and business characteristics.

2

Score by fit and urgency

Each business gets a score from 0–100 based on how well it matches a commercial opportunity and how urgently it needs addressing. Score weights are calibrated by business category.

3

Write a specific reason

For every scored lead, the Coach writes a 1–2 sentence explanation: "High intent: no website, 4 recent negative reviews mentioning poor contact experience, no booking system." That's a pitch, not just a score.

4

Sort and filter by score

Your territory view is sorted by Opportunity Score by default. Filter to show only Priority A leads (score 80+) for a focused calling list.

Key capabilities

  • Opportunity score 0–100 based on signals, fit, and urgency
  • Written AI explanation for every score — specific and actionable
  • Priority tiers: A (80+), B (60–79), C (below 60)
  • Score filtering and sorting across the territory lead list
  • Score updates automatically when new signal data is added via enrichment
  • Explanation is usable directly as a pitch opening or outreach context
FAQ

Opportunity Coach — common questions

Digital gaps (no website, outdated design, no booking system), review quality and recency, website technology stack, business category, territory context, and AI enrichment data.

Customisation of scoring weights is on the roadmap. Currently, the Coach uses calibrated defaults that perform well across most commercial sales scenarios.

A preliminary score is available after discovery, based on initial signals (review score, presence of website). A fuller score requires AI enrichment to run first.

CRM lead scores typically use behavioural signals (email opens, page visits) for contacts already in your system. The Opportunity Coach scores businesses you've never contacted, based on their external commercial signals — it's a discovery-stage intelligence tool, not a nurture-stage one.
