Searches now cover the whole area
Pranory splits each territory into cells and reads several pages of Google Maps results in each one. A large area no longer stops at twenty-odd businesses.
A search across a city or a whole county could return only twenty-odd businesses, even when there were hundreds. That's fixed.
What changes
- Pranory splits the territory into cells of up to 8 km and searches each one separately.
- In each cell it reads up to three pages of Google Maps results, not just the first.
- Each cell only counts the businesses inside it, so neighbouring cells don't overlap.
- The number of cells you see before launching the search is the number that runs.
Good to know
More cells and more pages mean more Google Maps requests on your key. Before launching a large search, check how many cells it has and read what Google Maps costs.
